Monterey Park Police Chief Kelly Gordon welcomed the residents to National Night Out Against Crime, which is celebrated across America and Canada.  We are here to have neighbors meet with our law enforcement officers. We are a true community and family. She thanked Lt. Paul Yniguez and Sgt. Randy Esparza for putting this event together for all of us.

Please visit all of the vendors and city departments who are here tonight. She thanked the police department for their dedication to serve to our community with pride. She thanked our City Council and our City Manager for their support.

Congressmember Judy Chu said she  is very happy to attend our National Night Our celebration. After a couple of years, we are here to strengthen our relationship with our police department. She thanked all of the business owners and residents for helping to keep our community safe. San Gabriel Valley Mobile Response Team are helping with mental health issues. She is working on Gun Safety. We all need to work together to try to keep us safe.

A Bike Rodeo was added to the event this year to help teach children bike safety.

Our 2022 National Night Out was very successful as over 1,000 residents to enjoyed a chance to meet and enjoy themselves and visit with our police officers and firefighters.
