Vets1

Armistice Day, now declared Veterans Day, is commemorated every year on 11 November to mark the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne, France, for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front of World War I, which took effect at eleven o’clock in the morning—the “eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month” of 1918. The date was declared a national holiday in many allied nations, and coincides with Remembrance Day and Veterans Day, public holidays.

Our veterans are honored and celebrated for their many sacrifices they made to protect our United States of America and our personal freedoms.

The veterans of many wars keep reminding us “Freedom is not Free”.

Many veterans have made the greatest sacrifice and gave their lives for us.

Many other veterans have returned home wounded in body and soul.

Our veterans deserve our respect and our support as they did their honorable duty to serve our country.

Please thank our veterans today and every day.

Please remember our veterans as you enjoy our many freedoms in the United States of America.
