During Oral Communications at the July 19th City Council Meeting, I congratulated Inez Alvarez for being hired as the Interim City Manager by our City Council. I congratulated Diana Garcia for being hired as the Interim Assistant City Manager by our City Council.
I have lived in Monterey Park since 1971 so I reminded our City Council that our very best City Managers were hired from our current staff members at that time.
I hope that you City Councilmembers will learn from our past history and hire Inez Alvarez as our new City Manager and hire Diana Garcia as our new Assistant City Manager.
I have been watching our local news reports, our state news reports and our American news reports and our world news report over the past many years.
Now it seems to me that the world leaders are playing “The Game of Risk” with our personal freedoms, our financial freedoms and our very personal security in both our United States of America and other world counties.
Some of our world leaders want their “One World Power” by deciding that we the people should not have any personal wealth, own private property, determine the educational choices for our children, condemn our religious choices and condemn our political choices.
It seems that these so-called leaders want to make the people they represent to become their peasants or serfs in their home countries and across our world.
These so-called leaders seem to be very greedy for money and power that they are trying to grab it from the people living in our world.
These greedy leaders have been forcing their residents to pay higher and higher taxes to pay for wars that we don’t support or force the people to buy products that they don’t want or need.
I believe that the “One World Order” has a strong relationship to the “New Green Deal” that is trying to destroy our life styles as we enjoy to line their pockets with our hard-earned money.
These so-called leaders have various political backgrounds but they are united in their cause for world dominance at the expense of our very freedoms.
Please pay attention to our local news reports, our state news reports, our American news reports and our world news reports so you can be prepared for any world changes that we may be able to prevent by demanding our leaders put the residents of our country and other counties first and foremost.
We the people of the United States of America and we the people of the world deserve to live in safety and in prosperity in our home countries.
The world maybe saved if we turn to prayer and respect our fellow humans as we ask people to respect us.
The world is becoming a smaller place with our Internet access across our world.
I hope and pray that some world leaders don’t start to bomb their enemies as they could cause our planet to blow off our axis into space.
Our world could end in a big bang or a small whisper.
I believe that we the people have some important decisions to make to save our world.
I know that our United States of America is being divided by some elected officials and radical groups, who hate our Constitutional freedoms, that include our right to free speech, our right to practice our religion, our right to enjoy our lives and our right to safety and security.
I have been watching the American Civil War being played on The History Station About Our Civil War sometimes called the War between the States.
The American Civil War was a civil war in the United States between April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865.
History states it was fought between the Union and the Confederacy, the latter formed by states that had seceded.
History states that the war ended with the Dissolution of the Confederate States, U.S. territorial integrity preserved, Slavery abolished, Beginning of the Reconstruction era, Passage and ratification of the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution of the United States
The number of soldiers who died between 1861 and 1865, is generally estimated at 620,000, is approximately equal to the total of American fatalities in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Spanish American War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean War, combined.
President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, as the nation approached its third year of bloody civil war. The proclamation declared “that all persons held as slaves” within the rebellious states “are, and henceforward shall be free”.
Now in 2023, I hear that some people are demanding reparations from the taxpayers because some of their deceased family members may been slaves.
It our Elected officials should demand we taxpayers them reparations for their ancestors then our Elected officials should demand that the taxpayers pay reparations to the family members of 620,000 men killed in our Civil War.
They died to protect their Constitutional rights at that time is history.
Maybe people who hate each other should watch The History Station to see all the violence and death that was caused by the War between the States.
“Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.” most likely writer and philosopher George Santayana who originally wrote, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
And in a 1948 speech to the British House of Commons, Winston Churchill said, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” No matter the origin, the sentiments are eternal.
Maybe we should take their advice and try to learn from our mistakes to make our world a better place for our future.
