During the May 18th City Council Meeting I thanked my City Councilmembers for agreeing to have the voters in District 3 have a chance to elect their new Councilmember in our November election.
I would like our city to hold a Meet the Candidates event after all interested residents pull their paperwork to run for Council in their District as well as our candidates for City Clerk and City Treasurer.
Since Monterey Park residents were forced to vote by districts but we have the responsibility hear from all of the Council candidates even if we cannot vote for them.
Please explain to all of the Monterey Park residents that each Councilmember is responsible for the total welfare of our hometown.
It has become apparent that some residents believe that their Councilmember is only serving their district.
Our voting districts in Monterey Park are not established like our Assembly district or our Congressional district.
All of this election confusion is based on an issue called Identity politics which is a political approach wherein people of a particular gender, religion, race, social background, social class, environmental, or other identifying factors, develop political agendas that are based upon these identities.
We can thank these people for dividing up our United States of America.
I have been reading the news on line and watching the news on television with all of the tragic deaths caused by people who hate other people.
Many Elected Officials are quick to blame guns for all these violent acts and want to take our guns away from all of us.
They do not care that our United States of America Constitution guarantees us “Right to Bear Arms”.
“Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791. The first 10 amendments form the Bill of Rights: A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
These Elected Officials are power hungry and want to destroy our United States of America.
These Elected Officials need to protect our children and teachers attending our schools from violent people who want to go out in a blaze of glory. Their actions are usually called “Suicide by Cop”.
These Elected Officials need to protect our citizens from crimes committed by violent people who should be held in jail until their trial. They should be convicted and sentenced according to their crimes. Violent criminals should be sentenced to die by the same method that they killed their victims.
Our police officers are not allowed to do their jobs because of some political beliefs that the police officers are the bad guys and the criminals are the good guys.
It seems to me that our Justice System has been destroyed by politicians that support the Evil members of our society at the expense of our good citizens.
Please keep in mind that the Government Pandemic Lockdown has cause great deal of stress for many U S citizens by their loss of income, good health services, shortages of food, baby formula, paper goods and many other products as well as higher prices for food, shelter, gas for our cars and other utility bills.
We US citizens need to hold our Elected Officials responsible for these shortages.
Please remember our Elected Officials work for us.
They have been spending our hard-earned tax dollars like it is their own personal funds.
We need to vote out these selfish Elected Officials and elect people who have the same values as we have to keep our United States of America from Evil Dictators trying to destroy our personal and financial freedoms.
Yes, our Elections have consequences so please vet your candidates before you vote for them to govern your city, your county, your state and your federal governments.
May God continue to bless us and our United States of America.
