December is a very special month that we celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa in our United States of America.
Our European cousins also celebrate the Feast of St. Nicholas on December 6th (the first day of the Christmas Season that ends on January 6th with the Feast of the Three Kings). They also celebrate Boxer Day on December 26th in England.
The Christmas message is one of peace and joy to the world.
I hope and pray that everyone in the world tries to be more forgiving of our fellow men and women not just during the Christmas season or the Hanukkah season, but also through out the year.
Since we have not learned our lessons to love and forgive each other we may be bring our earth to destruction by our actions.
Mother Nature is reminding us when we face natural disasters like brush fires, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and floods that we do not control our world.
We humans can only control our own actions.
The world is in turmoil with people hating and killing anyone who does not have their same religious beliefs or social views.
In our United States of America we have people who hate a person for their political and/or their religious beliefs.
Our country was founded by leaders who hope to provide all Americans with a chance for equal opportunities in the new world.
Since life in Europe was divided by status (royal families or peasants) they hoped this new country will provide a better balance of power for all people.
Our America is a Capitalist country, we the people, have been working to create a country that provides a good education for our children, a chance to work in your chosen field, the resources to buy your own home and create your own business.
Some liberal people are trying to destroy our American Dream since they seem to believe that everyone should not have to work to achieve their dreams. Their socialist mind-set is to give away our American Dream for free to those people who do not want to work for their own successes.
It seems a large group of young people state they rather live under Socialism than our current Capitalism.
I hope these young people realize that under Socialism that they may not be able to achieve their dreams since the government will be paying their bills and deciding their lifestyles.
Our Capitalist country is not perfect but it gives everyone a chance to achieve their own successes.
We Americans are very lucky in live in the best country in the world.
We are living in a free society.
Please remember to keep our military members, firefighters, police officers and victims of our wild fires in your thoughts and prayers during this Holiday Season.
Wishing you and yours a Very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah and a Very Happy and Healthy New Year!
