I am asking for a $75 donation to the Monterey Park Library Foundation to help support our program to distribute 150 children books to help promote literacy and reading to the children of Monterey Park. This is the first year that Library Foundation is making this commitment to our children of the Monterey Park, we are working with the Friends of the Library to put on this program. I hope that you will join me in supporting this worthwhile program to promote reading among all of our children.
