Rosemead HS 28th Cross Country Invitational Will Include Many Schools


Rosemead – Rosemead High School boys and girls cross country teams will host as many as 50 high school teams at its 28th Annual Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19, starting at 5 p.m. at Rosemead High School.

The three mile races will start on the west side of Marinelli Stadium, continue through the stadium, continue next door to Rosemead Park and to the finish line in Marinelli Stadium in what is a spectator-friendly event.

The races will be by grade level with boys Inflatable Water Slide and girls in different races and portable lighting will be brought in to highlight the later races.

There is free admission, free parking, a program for only $3, the food area will be open, music and race result announcements are planned, and there are 320 medals and 26 trophies to be won.  Souvenir invitational tee-shirts will be sold for $10.

Some of the runners have had high school championship experience and small schools to large schools will participate, announced new Rosemead High School cross country Head Coach Fidel Dominguez.
