HISTORICAL MUSEUM VOLUNTEER SPEAKER

The Alhambra Historical Society will meet on Wednesday, May 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 9 West Woodward, corner of First Street, in Alhambra, and will feature Bill Phillips, who has visited several historical museums in North America.

Before the program, enjoy refreshments and the display of many historical items available for viewing, with a chance to talk to the collectors A short business meeting and installation of officers for 2014-15 will take place at 7:30 p.m..

The meeting is free and open to the public.

At 8 p.m., Mr. Phillips will talk about his work and volunteering in many museums across Canada and the U.S. He will share his experiences and answer questions about his travels.

The Alhambra Historical Society Museum is located at 1550 West Alhambra Road at Bushnell in Alhambra. The museum is open every Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m., and on the second and fourth Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Tours available upon request. For more information, call the museum at 626 300-8845.
