On November 14 at the Chinese Daily News/World Journal Building Assemblymember Ed Chau (D-Monterey Park), collaborated with the San Gabriel Valley Water Company and the California American Water Company to host his first annual 49^th Assembly District “Operation Gobble” turkey giveaway.  The turkeys were distributed to local charitable organizations that serve low-income families in the greater San Gabriel Valley.

The organizations receiving the donated turkeys this year include: Boys & Girls Club of West San Gabriel Valley; La Casa de San Gabriel Community Center; Kiwanis Club of Temple City; Emergency Resources Association; Asian Youth Center; Home of Angels; and Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. – Greater El Monte Post No. 10218.

Assemblymember Ed Chau represents the 49^th Assembly District, which includes the cities of Alhambra, Arcadia, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Temple City, and portions of El Monte, Montebello, and South El Monte.
