The Monterey Park Historical Society will be honoring all veterans on November 3, 2013, at 1:00 pm. at the Bruggemeyer Library. The society is honored to have World War II P-38 pilot Pete Maimone as one of our guest speakers. The Monterey Park American Legion will also be involved in our presentation, so we invite everyone to come and hear personal accounts of our American history.

It will be a wonderful rendition of our past history and the service of our fellow, heroic citizens.

Refreshments will be served after the presentation.

The Historical Society maintains the Monterey Park Historical Museum, located at 781 S. Orange Avenue (general info 626-307-1267). Museum hours are Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Special school tours are available by calling 626-458-5505.
