Monterey Park can truly breathe a sigh of relief for having

achieved in saving their city from going county! An over whelming election

vote (64.1%)that our forefathers would have proudly applauded as well made our

day! After all, it was their intention that our city’s various departments

remain intact and strong under our ruling, only!

Unfortunately, we were disrupted and pursued and intimidated

by groups of misguided young men with their desires of going LA county! Our

residents, however, were not easily swayed and felt they were not interested

in such a change!

If ever there was a time to celebrate and salute our 4th of July

holiday, it is now! We can be especially grateful for the outstanding support

from many caring residents and the “Concern Citizen’s group” for assisting

and standing up for our community!  We are eternally grateful!
