OFELIA ESPARZA ART EXHIBIT

August 8-9, 2009

Local Artist Ofelia Esparza, will be displaying her artwork in an exhibit at

the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce / El Encanto, located at

700 El Mercado Ave. in Monterey Park, on Saturday, August 8 from

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday August 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Ofelia Esparza is an esteemed artist and noted maker of stunningly

beautiful Dia de los Muertos and other traditional altars.

The artist exhibit is sponsored by the Monterey Park Art and Culture Commission, as part of their ”Artist of the Month” program.

Ms. Esparza will be at the event to meet with the residents and to talk

about her works of art. In addition, The Commission will be hosting a

reception at the Saturday event with light refreshments. The event is free.
