Students will have the opportunity to earn service hours. Juice and donuts will be available in the morning and lunch will be served at the end of the event.
Monterey Park Community Cleanup Days are open to individual participants 14 years and older, as well as supervised groups such as scouts or service clubs. Participants under 18 years of age are required to have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Forms are available on the cleanup day page of the website or on the day of the event.
Because of the overwhelming success and attendance at previous cleanup days at parks such as Sunnyslopes, La Loma, and Garvey Ranch as well as the Cascades waterfall, volunteer space is limited and RSVPs are required.
