The City of Alhambra was well represented in the Pasadena Rose Parade by a patriotic float with an American flag unfurled with four veterans displayed from the Vietnam War, Korean War and World War II. The float was titled “Salute to the USO.” USO canteens sponsored entertainment and food to bouncy castle for sale military personnel all over the world. Phoenix Decorations built the float and energetic young singers and dancers performed on the street.

The combined marching bands of Alhambra, Mark Keppel and San Gabriel High Schools made an impressive addition to the float which was especially well received by veterans everywhere.
