The American Legion Unit 397 and the American Legion Auxiliary 397, are proud to announce that they will be sending Eric Vodicska and Adam Diaz, to Boy’s State and Amanda Marie Martinez to Girl’s State. They are all students from Mark Keppel High School.

Our April Friday Dinners will be April 5th, green chilaquiles, and April 19th, Pork Chops. Dinners are from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and cost $5 to $7. Come and enjoy a family style meal with family and friends. The Post General Meeting will be held April 17th, at 6:30. All veterans are welcome. The Auxiliary will meet April 10th at 5:30 p.m.

The POPPIES ARE COMING in the month of May! To celebrate, we will be hosting a Poppy/Spring Dance, on May 11th, Saturday, from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. The band “East Side Groove,” will be featured. Tickets will be $10 per person and $18 per couple. Dinner will be available for $6. Come and enjoy a fun evening.

Please join us at our Armed Forces Day community event on May 25th, at Resurrection Cemetery.  We will place flags on the graves of our fallen heroes. We had a great turnout last year and hope you can join us again. The Auxiliary will be providing flags. If you plan to attend, please let the Auxiliary know and if you cannot attend and want us to place a flag for your loved one, call us so we can do this for you.
