The Poppies are coming!

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 397 will be distributing Poppies during the week of May 19th to May 26th. Donate to this worthwhile cause. Poppies will be available at the American Legion Post 397 and from all Post and Auxiliary members.

Honor our Fallen Veterans on Armed Forces Day, May 19th 2012, by joining us to place flags on the gravesites of our veterans at Resurrection Cemetery, 966 N. Potrero Grande Dr., Montebello. Meet at the cemetery at 9 a.m. We will provide the flags. All Scout Troops, Posts, VFW, School and community groups are welcome. Call or email and let us know how many in your group will participate with us.

Join us for our Friday, May 25th Dinner, of Stuffed Bell Peppers, Mashed Potatoes and Veggies for $5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All are welcome to celebrate Memorial Day, May 28th, 2012 at the Monterey Park City Hall, at 10 a.m. After the ceremony, please join us for lunch at the American Legion Post 397.

The American Legion Post 397 will host a Barbeque on May 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. serving short ribs. Join us for a lunch with family and friends.
