LACOPS Endorse Edwin Chau for Assembly
The Los Angeles County Organization of Police and Sheriffs (LACOPS) has endorsed Edwin “Ed” Chau in his bid for the 49th Assembly District seat.
“We are confident in your background as a practicing attorney and judge pro-tem to continue to provide safer communities for all Californians,” stated LACOPS President Brian Moriguchi in the endorsement letter.
LACOPS represents more than 28,000 law enforcement professionals in the County of Los Angeles.

Edwin “Ed” Chau is an elected School Trustee with the Montebello School Board, where he has served for the past 12 years. He is a Judge Pro Tem, a practicing attorney for the last 17 years, and a former IBM Engineer. He holds bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Sociology, and a Juris Doctor Law Degree. Ed is married to Candice and they have one daughter, Caitlyn. Ed is a Democrat.
