Sweetheart

Your eyes always told me that you loved me,

Your lips had said the same thing to,

Your arms had held me oh so tightly,

I never wanted you to let me go,

Sweetheart, sweetheart,

God has take thee away from me,

Sweetheart, sweetheart,

There is another angel on his tree,

The memories we shared were so delightful,

You always showed me that you cared,

There were times your pains were so frightful,

My aching heart and tears were hard to bear,

Sweetheart, sweetheart,

God has taken three away from me,

Sweetheart, sweetheart,

There is another angel on his tree,

Together Again

We were young when we met

Our love was strong our plans well set

A foolish war I went away

The years went by you prayed all day

When I returned was not the same

I seen it all I seen the pain

We’d try again, another start

A life together we’ll never part

A God above please keep us safe

There’s only hope for the human race

An Obituary

Here lies a kind man we all knew,

His life was joyful and not in a stew

He looked at the world as a joyest place

Embracing all people regardless of race

His love of people was a sight to behold

His demise was a tale sad to be told

He was always an actor playing a part

Life’s final role put a strain on his heart

Tis sad we now talk on his timely end,

He will always be missed our benevolent friend
