Public School Teacher Arrested by Monterey Park Police for Lewd Acts with a Child under the age of 14.

On October 27, 2011 at about 11:02 a.m. Monterey Park Police Officers responded to 650 S. Grandridge Ave., Repetto Elementary School regarding a child sexual abuse investigation.

The investigation led to the arrest of Jose Jesus Mosqueda, age 42, of Los Angeles. Mosqueda is a Special Education Teacher for Repetto Elementary School. Mosqueda has been with the Alhambra Unified School District for the past 5 years. He has been placed on Administrative Leave pending the outcome of the case.

Mosqueda was arrested for 288 (a) PC, Lewd and Lascivious aufblasbare wasserrutschen acts with a child under the age of 14. The Alhambra District Attorney’s Office filed one count of 288 (a) and one count of 288.7 (b) PC against Mosqueda, who is scheduled for arraignment today.

The Alhambra School District is working in cooperation with the Monterey Park Police Department to address concerns of parents at Repetto School.
