The American Legion Post 397 and its Auxiliary will host a Thanksgiving Dinner to all veterans and their families on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, at 1 p.m., at the American Legion Post, 338 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park. Please let us know if you are interested, by calling the Post at 626-571-9211 to reserve your spot.

The city of Monterey Park and the American Legion Post 397 will celebrate Veteran’s Day on November 11th! The ceremony will be held in front of the Monterey Park City Hall at a time to be gonfiabili determined and will be followed by a Pot Luck Open House at the Post. The community is invited to join us in honoring our veterans.

Don’t feel like cooking on Fridays? Join us for Friday Dinners on November 4th, for Pork Chop Night, which includes chops, potatoes, veggies, and a roll for $6. On November 18th we will be having a Baked Potato Bar, which includes a potato and all the fixings, salad, and a roll, for $5. Dinners are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Veterans get $1.00 off of their dinners.

Karaoke Fun Fridays are every Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The American Legion Post BBQ will be November 17th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Post General Meeting will be November 16th at 6:30 p.m. and the Auxiliary will meet on November 9th, at 5:30 p.m.
