“The Friendly Pantry”

I looked into the pantry, it was time to eat

The corn caught my eye as usual a treat

The beans inched forward getting into the act

The body needs fiber that a known fact

The garbanzo beans gave me a frown

Sometimes they are the talk of the town

The asparagus danced into view

Ginger and Fred they were not, that true

The peas, the peas, I heard them scream

They were anxious to join in my team

O’SOLO’MIO yodeled a voice

It was the spaghetti usually my choice

How can I choose without hurting a friend

Making a sandwich could end up the trend

“Moments of Time”

The fly flew as a fly should fly

He circled the room spry and sly

Looking for a friendly lair

Danger lurking he knew not where

The fly flew as a fly should fly
