Lennard Pearson passed away on May 28, 2011 in the San Gabriel Medial Center at the age of 88.  He was a longtime resident of Monterey Park CA who live Elizabeth Avenue for 38 years before he and his wife, Mary Pearson gonfiabili retired to the Atherton Baptist Homes in Alhambra CA in 2008.

Mr. Pearson served in the U S Navy on Guadalcanal in World War II.  He wrote about his wartime adventures for his hometown paper when he was discharged after the war.

His wife, Mary Pearson, his sister-in-law Gloria Pearson, numerous nieces, nephews and friends survive him.

Mr. Pearson was laid to rest on June 6 at Rose Hill Cemetery with a military funeral.
