MONTEREY PARK ROTARY PLANS CASINO NIGHT
The Rotary Club of Monterey Park will have a Casino Night on Friday, May 6th starting at 7:00 P.M. at the Boys and Girls Club of the West San Gabriel Valley, 328 S. Ramona Avenue, Monterey Park, CA 91754. Tickets for the third annual Casino Night cost $40 and include $100 in chips. In addition, the tickets will include hors d’oeuvres and two free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. Tickets are available from any Monterey Park Rotarian or by contacting Monterey Park Rotary President Tim Motts at tmotts@wsgvbgc.org or by calling (626) 573-2831.
Over the last 64 years the Rotary Club of Monterey Park has provided financial support to many local community organizations and events – e.g. the City’s 4th of July celebration, the Crystal Youth Awards, the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library, MERCI, the Boys & Girls Club of the West San Gabriel Valley, the Langley Senior Center and the Monterey Park Fire Department. In addition, Monterey Park Rotary has provided assistance internationally for the elimination of Polio, to organizations assisting children in Mexico, for wheelchairs to China and Mexico and for Polio Corrective Surgery Project in China. All net profits from this fundraiser will be used to provide continued support to both local and international projects.
