Electronically Serving Monterey Park, Alhambra, San Gabriel, & Rosemead

NEWS FROM ED CHEN

Friends,

I am excited to make you among the first to hear that I have decided to run this March for City Council in my hometown of Temple City.

My roots in Temple City run deep.  I graduated from Temple City High School.  Years ago, I served on the Temple City School Board.  Over the past decade, I’ve been a Planning Commissioner, a Chamber of Commerce Board Member, and a proud Little League dad and board member.

I am stepping up now because I want to make sure my children grow up in a city that is safe, and unfortunately that isn’t a given anymore in Los Angeles County. My passion for public safety issues drove me during my time working in the California Legislature, and led me to serve 14 years as a Los Angeles County Sheriffs Reserve Deputy. Now as a full-time police officer, I can offer a better perspective that ensures public safety is always Priority #1 in Temple City.

Over the years, I’ve learned the keys to any campaign often involve the “Three T’s”– Time, Talent, and Treasure. Come Spring, I may be reaching back out to ask of your Time and Talent. But today, my focus is on fundraising.

At the end of the year, I have to show how much money I’ve raised to-date. Starting so close to the end of the year, I need to make every single day count in order to meet my goals. To make a strong showing, I need your help.

Please click here to help me continue serving my community, and to continue doing my part to keep Temple City just a great place to grow up for my kids as it was for me.

Thank you!

Ed Chen
