Rosemead High School Lady Panthers varsity girls basketball team started the 2011 Mission Valley League season on Jan. 12, with a 65-16 win against visiting South El Monte Lady Eagles.

All players for Rosemead scored in the game, led by gonfiabili sophomore Melody Gauthier with 21 points, seven steals, three blocked shots, five assists, and eight rebounds. Amber Acosta led the Eagles with six points. Rosemead’s junior varsity girls won, and South El Monte won the boys varsity game.
