Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library Presents December Holidays From Around the World with Georgette Baker
The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with a special program, “December Holidays From Around the World,” featuring author, singer, storyteller Georgette Baker who will share customs, songs, and stories from Mexico, Germany, Russia, Sweden, England, Australia, and the United States on Sunday, December 19 at 2 pm in the Friends Room located on the 2nd floor of the library.
Georgette Baker speaks five languages and is a world-traveling performer. She is the author of the “We’re Off…” series, which includes “We’re Off to Peru, Galapagos, and the Great Barrier Reef.” She is the producer of a music CD series, “Cantemos” and audio books, children’s bilingual books, “Las Fabulas de Esopo/Aesop’s Fables and Multicultural Stories/Cuentos Multiculturales.”
Georgette is a certified teacher and has performed for children and families for the past thirteen years.
