Hello Kitty Smart car was one of the many cars featured at the car show on October 16 in Barnes Park.

Mr. Moon, a 1974 Chevy complete with a fast food tray reminded the older residents of the carefree days of their youth.

Contestants received awards for the special cars in their categories.

The event featured live entertainment, food booths, face painting, art work, hand made items, balloon animals, jewelry, toys, baby clothes, bikes, purses, Christmas decorations and Halloween costumes.

The artisan’s booths displayed their wares for sale for the very early Christmas shoppers.
