Magda Torrellas of El Monte, 3^rd Vice Commander of District 18, The American Legion, has announced the annual Christmas Dinner and Party for homeless women veterans to be held at Alhambra Post 139, 24 North Stoneman, Alhambra on Wednesday, December 15^th, 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Plans include a Christmas dinner, complete with inflatable water slide turkey and all the trimmings.  Santa Claus will be on hand with gifts for all those in attendance.   Those wishing to attend are asked to contact Vice Commander Torrellas, 213-427-8533 anytime, giving their name and telephone number in order insure a gift for each veteran.  The program will include Karaoke music to brighten the holiday season, and the women always enjoy the wonderful food and the good time of fellowship together.
