Foster Hirsch, a member of the Monterey Park Historical Society  and the Monterey Park Bruggmeyer Library had another classic film screening on August 6.

The film is the great 1961 drama THE HUSTLER starring Paul Newman in one of his greatest roles; Newman’s Oscar-nominated co-star was Piper Laurie.

Shufen Sokhom, Larry Sullivan and other members of the Monterey Park Historical Society joined Foster Hirsch at the ended of the special event.
