Fire Chief Matt Hallock welcomed the firefighters, their family and friends to this long-delayed ceremony held on May 21st at Fire Station 62. He led the event with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Councilmember Peter Chan welcomed everyone to Station 62, our new building. He thanked our Fire Chief and our firefighters for working for us during the Pandemic. They protect our residents. He wished everyone a Safe Life and a Happy Promotion. He thanked them for their service on behalf of our Monterey Park residents.

Fire Chief Matt Hallock thanked Peter Chan and all of the other City Councilmembers for our new fire station. It was to be built in 2019 but the Pandemic put things on hold. We are here to recognize these firefighters.
