NEWS FROM THE CITY OF MONTEREY PARK
Spring Is in Bloom With Two New Businesses in Monterey Park
The City of Monterey Park invited all residents to come join the City in celebrating the grand opening of two new local businesses on South Garfield Avenue.
Spring is in bloom with a new Shell Gas Station at 2439 S. Garfield Avenue celebrating its grand opening in Monterey Park.
Coffee lovers will fall in love with the new Starbucks Coffee at 2425 S. Garfield Avenue celebrating its fourth location in Monterey Park.
These two new businesses, like all businesses in Monterey Park, are integral parts of our local economy, paying local taxes and bolstering the City revenue available for improvements to roads, schools, and other public services. When you spend money at these local stores, that money goes to pay a worker in our neighborhood, who, in turn, is likely to spend money at another neighborhood business. Perhaps the best thing about our local businesses is that they typically work alongside other local small businesses, keeping the money within the community and stimulating our local Monterey Park economy.
