Rosemead School District Introduces its 2022 Board of Trustees and Adopts its Meeting Schedule for the 2022 Calendar Year

Rosemead, California: The Rosemead School District introduces its Board of Trustees for the 2022 calendar year following the Board’s organizational meeting held in person on December 14, 2021.

Ms. Nancy Armenta assumed the office of Board President and Mr. Ronald Esquivel assumed the office of Board Clerk, with a Mrs. Veronica Peña, Mr. John Quintanilla, and Mrs. Diane Benitez, as Trustees.

2022 BOARD OF TRUSTEES LEADERSHIP:


President Ms. Nancy Armenta
, a longtime resident of Rosemead, has served on the Rosemead School District Board of Trustees since 2015 and has served in the roles of President, Clerk, and Trustee.

Clerk Mr. Ronald Esquivel, a longtime resident of Rosemead and alumni of the Rosemead School District, has served on the Rosemead School District Board of Trustees since 1999 and has served in the roles of President, Clerk, and Trustee.


The Superintendent, administration, and staff look forward to working with the entire Board of Trustees to continue the great work of educating and supporting the students and staff of the Rosemead School District.

2022 BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING SCHEDULE:

During its December 14th, 2021 meeting, the Board of Trustees also adopted its 2022 Calendar Year Meeting Schedule, as follows:


1st Thursday Regular (Closed Session: 6:30 p.m. / Public/Open Session: 7:30 p.m.) 3rd Thursday Regular Study Session (Public/Open Session: 6:30 p.m.)
The Board will reconvene closed session after the completion of open session agenda items, if it is necessary to complete the closed session agenda.

  • January 2022 scheduled the 3rd Thursday only to avoid Winter Break

  • June 2022 due to Public Hearing and Budget Adoption.
  • July 2022 no meetings scheduled; special meetings will be scheduled as needed.
  • August 2022 meeting scheduled to prepare for the beginning of the school year.
  • December 2022 Organizational meeting as per Education Code, Interim Report due to County by 15th.
