LYNN BRANDSTATER TO SPEAK TO EAST LOS ANGELES-MONTEBELLO BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN ON THE CALIFORNIA FEDERATION OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN (CFBPW)
Lynn Brandstater, President of the California Federation of Business and Professional Women, will share information about the history and benefits of belonging to CFBPW at the meeting of the East Los Angeles-Montebello Business and Professional Women on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 starting at 5:00 P.M. via Zoom. The program is open to all interested people, but reservations are required to get the Zoom link. Call or E-mail Linda Wilson (626) 307-5650 or lindalwilson@juno.com to make a reservation or for questions.
Brandstater was born in Michigan but relocated with her parents to the Los Angeles area just in time to start second grade. So she considers California home. She has a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and certificates in nonprofit fundraising and human
resources management. She has more than thirty years experience working with nonprofit agencies, including agency management and facility construction. Her political advocacy for those with chronic mental illness throughout her nonprofit work spurred her to look at how different populations are marginalized in society. The workplace disparities between women and men led to her commitment to CFBPW. She is currently a partner in Delta Consulting, LLC, a firm specializing in revenue management projects in the healthcare field.
Brandstater loves to read and travel, particularly to Russia, so she can keep updated on the film production success of her former exchange student. Her last trip to Moscow even included a gala party inside the Kremlin. At home in Glendale, she is the proud “Mom” to fur baby doggie Spencer.
