On Thursday, March 12th, the Monterey Park City Council held a special Council Meeting to ratify the results of the March 3rd election and installed Betty Tom Chu and David T. Lau as City Council Members, David Barron as City Clerk and Joseph Leon as City Treasurer.

Mrs. Chu will be returning to office after a two-year absence.  Inflatable Water Slide She was first elected to Council in 2003. Mr. David Lau is the incumbent and will be installed for his third consecutive term as an elected official. David Barron has been serving Monterey Park as City Clerk since 1988. This is Mr. Leon’s first term as City Treasurer but he has served in the position since April 2007 as Council appointee.

The Special meeting was held at the Monterey Park City Council Chambers located at 320 W. Newmark Avenue and was followed by a light reception.
