S. Mark Taper Foundation
The Asian Youth Center is honored to announce that we have received a generous $50,000 grant from the S. Mark Taper Foundation. This award will help the youth and families we serve succeed in school, at work, and in life.
The funds will support AYC’s mission to provide culturally and linguistically competent education, employment, and social services to youth and families throughout Los Angeles County. Last fiscal year, AYC served 1,583 unduplicated individuals. Of those individuals, 75% were from low-income households. Youth ages 0-24 years old made up of 55% of the clients served. Our departments include Youth and Family Services, Community Outreach & Education, Employment Services, and Educational Enrichment Services.
When it comes to helping all youth overcome social, educational, and economic barriers to achieve self-sufficiency, AYC is there, every step of the way. Many thanks to the S. Mark Taper Foundation for empowering our cause!
Warmest Regards,
