Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library Presents 2020 Laura Scudder Women Entrepreneurs Series

Celebrate National Women’s History Month this March at the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library with a series of workshops to inspire and support aspiring female business owners in our community. As a tribute to Laura Scudder, who revolutionized the potato chip packaging industry, these programs will provide women with resources and guidance to make their business ideas a reality. Each week will cover an important aspect of small business ownership and participants are encouraged, although not required, to attend all sessions. Workshops will be held on Sundays in March from 2-4 p.m. and topics will include:

March 8: Business Start-up, Business Plans, Market Research and Access to Capital.
March 15: Business Contract Law for Small Businesses.
March 22: CalSavers (California Retirement Plan).
March 29: Digital Marketing and Branding.

All workshops will be led by Chinatown Service Center and are open to women ages 18 and up. To learn more about this series, contact the Reference Desk at 626-307-1368. To register for workshops, email Elaine Pang at epang@cscla.org.
