Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library Accepts Kiwanis Club Donation to Kick Off Season of Giving
The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library is pleased to announce the donation of five Lingo translation devices from the Kiwanis Club to the library. These devices provide two-way, real-time translations, helping library staff better serve linguistically diverse visitors to the library.
The Kiwanis Club of Monterey Park has been a generous supporter of the Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library for years, donating funds in particular to the Children’s Division, improving literacy and providing joy to children of the community. The club donated the devices in concert with the Monterey Park Library Foundation, an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that raises funds to support the library.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Monterey Park Library Foundation will kick off its annual Holiday Wish List campaign, asking the public to donate towards the purchase of individual books, subscriptions, learning and play gear or technology and equipment. Information will be available in the library lobby or on the library website. The Monterey Park Library Foundation asks that you please donate to support the library during the holidays and beyond. The entire community will benefit from your generosity. All donations are tax deductible.
