Monterey Park Lions Club Honors Fire Fighters with Luncheon

The Monterey Park Lions Club honored the Monterey Park Fire Fighters with a “thank you” luncheon on October 16, 2018 at the Lions Manor. The event was the Lions Club way of appreciating the MPK Fire Department for their support of the Lions’ Pancake Breakfast, an event that is now part of the annual MPK Fire Department Service Day. 100% of the proceeds of the Pancake Breakfast are committed to the Lions’ Annual Eye Screening program. The October 16^th luncheon was paid for by individual members of the Monterey Park Lions Club and had over fifty people in attendance, including twenty fire fighters and Fire Chief Harberle. These are just a few of the great events that are a foundation of the Monterey Park Lions Club commitment to giving back to the community.
