Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley
ANNOUNCING THE 3RD ANNUAL BIG BAND THEORY SWING DANCE, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, FEATURING A BAND OF SCIENTIST MUSICIANS
The 2018 ‘Big Band Theory Swing Dance’ will be held on Saturday, October 6th at the Church of the Good Shepherd to support Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley. The event features Big Band Theory, a swing band comprised of musicians who are actual scientists from JPL and Cal-Tech, which are the most prestigious research-and-development centers in Southern California. Participants at the event will enjoy a dinner, dance lessons provided by professional swing dance instructors and a celebratory evening of live music and dancing. Proceeds will benefit Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley, the premier local agency to help local homeless families stay intact and find stable housing and lasting employment.
The event commences at 5:30 PM and continues until 10:00 PM. Tickets are $50 per person in advance and at door, which includes admission, dinner, lesson and dancing.
