TWOHEY’S ACT TWO
TWOHEY’S ACT TWO
We’ve all been a part of first act of Twohey’s in Alhambra, now we are about to join them for the second act—and you’ll learn all about that when you attend the Alhambra Historical Society Membership meeting to hear Tom Anderson, Director of Operations at Twohey’s on Wednesday, September 26 at 7 p.m. in the Masonic Center, 9 West Woodward, corner of First Street, in Alhambra.
Mr. Anderson will tell us about the past 75 years! Yes! 75 years in Alhambra—that’s since 1943 in case you’ve run out of fingers and toes to count. And he’ll talk about their new Food Truck catering, what 2 EEs mean, and their new location on Fair Oaks Avenue in South Pasadena. The same comfort food—burgers, onion rings, shakes and hot fudge sundaes will taste the same—or even better! Or order the original Stinko Burger that Twohey’s has been famous for—it comes with just pickles and sliced onions. The restaurant in South Pasadena will have the same hours–open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on weekends.
Please join the Historical Society for this interesting talk, view items on display from Alhambra’s past; and enjoy refreshments during “Meet and Greet” beginning at 7 p.m. At 7:30 the meeting and program will begin. Admission is free.
