Kathy Wills’ 18-year-old grandson, Nicholas Niepert was injured during a turbulent airplane flight from Los Angeles to Beijing China. He was burned when a beverage cart located near his seat sprayed hot coffee on him.

Kathy learned of this accident on July 8th from her son Kent.

Her daughter-in-law, Jean was on the airplane with him and reported the accident to the family.

Nicholas Niepert and his brother, Kristofer Niepert have a very successful musical career in China.

They have entertained us in Monterey Park during many special occasions like the Lunar New Year celebrations, birthday parties, victory parties and more.

Their proud grandmother, Kathy Wills, is a longtime resident of our hometown.
