BPW INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE SECRETARY BESSIE HIRONIMUS TO SPEAK AT ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING FOR NEW BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S CLUB

The Sierra Mar District of the California Federation of Business and Professional Women is sponsoring an informational meeting on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Du-Pars’ Restaurant, 214 S. Lake Avenue, Pasadena, CA. All people interested in the promotion of working women are invited to attend this free meeting to learn about the goals, objectives and benefits of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s organization (NFBPWC). BPW fights for pay equity and has fought for ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment since 1937. BPW provides personal development training in such area as salary negotiation, public speaking and parliamentarian procedures. There is also networking opportunities locally, statewide, nationwide and internationally. Refreshments will be served at this free informational meeting.
The speakers are Bessie Hironimus, recently elected Executive Secretary of BPW International and Katherine Winans, President of the California Federation of Business and Professional Women. They will talk about the training, recognition and opportunities provided via seminars, workshop at local, district, state, national and international meetings including information on BPW International’s consultative status at the United Nations.
