You have an opportunity to make a lasting difference for a homeless family with young children. Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley invites you to the sixth annual Empty Bowls event at 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 2, 2017. All proceeds of the event will go towards assisting local families to regain their homes and independence with temporary housing, hospitality and services.

Go to www.familypromisesgv.org to hear guest families from the San Gabriel Valley  speak about how the stability in their lives has given them hope for the future, now that they have recovered their independence through better jobs and their own permanent housing.

The $35 admission includes a beautiful, handmade soup bowl donated by local artisans and lunch provided by local restaurants. You will enjoy a variety of delicious soups, bread, and cookies. The event also features live music, an artists’ village featuring ceramics for purchase, and a raffle for fabulous gift baskets.

Family Promise of San Gabriel Valley assists families with young children to break the cycle of homelessness and transition to their own homes by providing temporary housing and other assistance. We were established in 2011 to partner with local faith congregations, civic organizations, and individuals to address family homelessness in the San Gabriel Valley and enable them to get back on their feet.

Family Promise is a national organization of 200-plus affiliates that serves more than 50,000 people in need each year and engages over 180,000 volunteers. Family Promise affiliates are located in 41 states across the country. For more information, visit familypromisesgv.org.
