El Repetto Drive Assaults – Request for Information and Community Assistance

Monterey Park, Calif. – December 22, 2016 – On Thursday, November 17, 2016 at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of W. El Repetto Drive, Monterey Park, a female was approached in the walkway of her apartment complex by the described suspect. He demanded money from the victim and attempted to grab her, however, the victim fought back. The suspect fled on foot prior to police arriving on scene. Suspect is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build.

On Thursday, December 15, 2016 at approximately 11:40 p.m., in the 800 block of W. El Repetto Dr., a female was approached by the described suspect while seated in her vehicle. He demanded money from the victim. When the victim told him she had no money, the suspect fondled the victim in her car. He fled on foot prior to police arriving on scene. Suspect is described as a male Hispanic approximately 5 foot 10 inches with a medium build.

The suspect in both cases was wearing a “hoodie.” During both crimes the suspect targeted female victims who were alone. The Monterey Park Police Department would like to remind everyone to beware of their surroundings, especially during night time hours.

Commercial Burglary at 725 W. Garvey Avenue-Request for Information and Community Assistance

On Monday December 19, 2016 at approximately 3:48 a.m. two unknown suspects entered the business located at 725 W. Garvey Avenue in Monterey Park via the roof. Once inside the suspects stole two high priced bottles of alcohol.

Property taken was one Louis XIII Rare Cask 426 Cognac Second Edition valued at $28,000 and one bottle of Louis XIII Black Pearl Cognac Anniversary Edition valued at $25,000. The suspects then fled the location. Pictured below are the suspects as captured from the surveillance video.
