Irma Prieto, a long time Executive Secretary of the Alhambra Chamber of Commerce, died after a short illness on February 5. Her husband Ted, their daughter Corlei, many family members and friends mourn her.

Mrs. Prieto was called the heart and soul of the Chamber. She was a very capable and creative person who helped produce “Around Alhambra” the City and Chamber newspaper.

On February 13 Irma Prieto’s funeral service was held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Alhambra, CA. She was buried in Resurrection Cemetery in Montebello, CA.

A celebration of her life was held at the church hall following the services.
