Rosemead Chamber to Hold 8th Annual Lunar New Year Banquet – February 11th, 2010
“The Year of the Tiger”
In celebration of the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year, the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce will hold their 2010 Lunar New Year Banquet on February 11th, 2010 at the East Gourmet Seafood Restaurant at 8118A E. Garvey Ave. in Rosemead, CA.
This year the Chamber of Commerce will be honoring the recently formed Rosemead’s Sister Cities Committee, a partnership between the City of Rosemead and Keelong, Taiwan. The VIP Guest list for this event will include the five members of the Sister City Committee, all prominent businessmen from Rosemead area: James Wang, CH Auto, Daniel Deng, Law Offices of Daniel Deng, Tom Wu, Holiday Inn Express, Min-Hsien Wang, Rosemead Chamber of Commerce, and Jeffery Lin, University of the West. Other VIP’s include the Mayor of Rosemead, Margaret Clark, City Manager and the Rosemead Council Members, Assembly Member Mike Eng, and over 100 other representatives from local prominent businesses and local School Districts.
The event will start at 6 PM, and the agenda of festivities will include a No-Host Bar, a delicious traditional Chinese New Year Feast, and following, the famous Chinese Lion dance in honor of the Lunar New Year Celebration.
