Monterey Park’s Vice Mayor Teresa Real Sebastian and her husband, Armen Sebastian dressed for the occasion to enjoy the Arroyo Orchestra playing Classic Music from the Centuries on August 20th.  This musical production was the last one of three Summer Concerts in the Park as part of the 100th birthday celebration of Monterey Park.

Vice Mayor Teresa Real Sebastian welcomed the many guests to this musical event. She introduced the band conducted by Paul Sherman as the Arroyo Orchestra, which is comprised of musicians from several different groups who joined together to perform.

Vice Mayor Teresa Real Sebastian Armen Sebastian and Tammy Louie led our Flag Salute.  The band then played our National Anthem to the delight of the guests.

Paul Sherman conducted the 32-piece orchestra that included strings, flutes, clarinets, bassoons, horns, trumpets, trombones, a tuba and percussions.

The night air was full of sounds from old classics and ended with the Star Wars Medley.

Vice Mayor Real Sebastian thanked the audience for attending this special event. She thanked the sponsors for their support. She thanked her committee for helping her provide the Summer Concerts in the Park.
