The City of Monterey Park’s Chinese New Year Festival will be held on Saturday,

February 20th from Noon to 5:00pm at the Barnes Park Amphitheatre located at

350 S. McPherrin Avenue.

This year, the City will host a smaller, community event for our local residents instead of our traditional two-day Street Festival on Garvey Avenue while the City is in the process

of locating an event coordinator for the 2011 Event.

We will offer traditional entertainment, food and exhibits. Performances anticipated at the Festival include the Lion Dance, Dragon Dance, Chinese musical performance, Chinese Dance, and Martial Arts Demonstrations, live music and more.
