According to Wikipedia, Thailand, formerly known as Siam, is the world’s 51st largest country and the 20th most-populous country with 66 million people. Its capital and largest city is Bangkok. It is the only country in Southeast Asia never colonized by the west, which has helped it keep its own unique culture. On her trip to Thailand, Ruiz had a chance to experience its culture and traditions. She will share these experiences at the East Los Angeles-Montebello BPW meeting on April 27th.
