On January 21st Assemblymember Ed Chau (D-Monterey Park) issued the following statement today on Governor Brown’s 2016 State of the State Address:

“The Governor’s speech today recognized the significant progress we have made in California, while reminding us of the ongoing challenges that our State faces into the future.  Such challenges include addressing our rising healthcare costs, rebuilding our deteriorating infrastructure, and staying committed to our goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. I am committed to taking on these challenges with my colleagues and working with the Governor on addressing these and other needs that are important to all Californians.”

Assemblymember Ed Chau represents the 49th Assembly District, comprised of the communities of Alhambra, Arcadia, El Monte, Monterey Park, Rosemead, San Gabriel, San Marino, Temple City and portions of Montebello, and South El Monte.
